THE PROBLEM
A homeowner in Collin County noticed their driveway had started sinking toward the garage entrance. Water would collect near the garage door after storms, and the uneven slope became more noticeable every season.
The driveway settlement was also creating a growing lip between slabs, making it harder to safely walk and drive across the surface.
This type of issue is common throughout North Texas due to expanding clay soils and moisture changes beneath concrete slabs.
The homeowner wanted a solution that would:
- Restore the driveway slope
- Prevent water from draining toward the garage
- Eliminate uneven slab transitions
- Avoid tearing out the driveway
- Save money compared to replacement
OUR 3-STEP CONCRETE LIFTING PROCESS

1 Drill
Small access holes were drilled through the settled driveway slabs in carefully selected areas.
2 Pump
We injected high-density polyurethane foam underneath the driveway. The expanding foam filled empty spaces below the slab while gently lifting the concrete back toward its original position.
3 Patch
After the driveway was leveled, the drill holes were patched cleanly and the area was ready for immediate use.
The repair process is fast, clean, and minimally invasive compared to replacement.
THE RESULT
The driveway was restored to a more even, functional slope in just a few hours.
Water now drains properly away from the garage instead of collecting near the foundation. The uneven transitions between slabs were corrected, and the driveway looked significantly better once complete.
The homeowner avoided:
- Demolition mess
- Long replacement timelines
- High replacement costs
- Major disruption to the property
Even better, the driveway was ready to drive on immediately after the lifting process was complete.
WHY DRIVEWAYS SINK IN COLLIN COUNTY
Driveway settlement is extremely common in Collin County because of shifting clay soil and changing moisture conditions.
As the ground expands and contracts throughout the year, slabs can lose support underneath. Poor drainage and water runoff can also wash away soil below the driveway over time.
Once voids form under the slab, concrete begins settling unevenly.
Our polyurethane foam lifting process stabilizes the soil beneath the driveway while restoring the slab to a safer, more functional position.
A SMARTER ALTERNATIVE TO REPLACEMENT
- Faster than replacement
- Costs significantly less
- Minimal disruption
- Helps correct drainage issues
- Stabilizes weak soil below the slab
- Concrete ready to use the same day
If your driveway is sinking toward your garage in Collin County, PolyFix can help restore it without replacing the slab.
