Sea Wall Repair in North Texas
Stabilize Soil • Fill Voids • Stop Water Washout • Protect Your Shoreline
When soil washes out behind a seawall or retaining wall, the structure weakens fast — causing cracks, sinking slabs, unsafe gaps, and long-term damage. PolyFix Inc. repairs seawalls using hydrophobic polyurethane foam, a water-safe material that expands, fills voids, and stabilizes the ground, even when injected directly into wet soil.
If your seawall is showing signs of movement, we can help restore strength, stop erosion, and protect your property before the damage gets worse.
Why Seawalls Fail
Seawalls and retaining walls fail when soil behind them becomes unstable. The most common issues include:
Water erosion washing soil out from behind the wall
Voids forming under concrete walkways, patios, or slabs near the water
Cracks or gaps where water pushes through
Hydrostatic pressure after heavy rain
Aging structures with weakened support
Improper drainage allowing water to pool behind the wall
Over time, this creates empty pockets that leave the wall unsupported — and the damage accelerates quickly.
Common Signs Your Seawall Needs Repair
Contact PolyFix if you notice:
Soft or sinking ground near the wall
Voids or gaps behind the seawall
Cracks forming in the walkway or patio
Water leaking through seams
Slabs pulling away from the seawall
Soil disappearing or settling unevenly
Leaning or shifting seawall sections
Fixing these early prevents expensive structural damage.
If your seawall is experiencing washout or soil loss, the same issue may also impact nearby slabs like patios, pool decks, concrete slabs, or void areas along the shoreline. We also offer soil stabilization to strengthen the surrounding ground and prevent future erosion.

I had a sidewalk that had sunk where it met the curb and needed to be raised. Called PolyFix, and they said they could work me in between some larger jobs. They came today and fixed the problem. It looks perfect! The gentleman even fixed a place where the corner of sidewalk had broken off. He even sent me a video of the whole process - so cool to see! I'm so impressed and recommend PolyFix!

From start to finish, everything went very smoothly with all aspects of the job. Tom (sales rep) explained the process in an easily understandable way. Bill (owner) scheduled the work in a timely manner. And, finally, David (technician) arrived on time and completed the work while patiently answering my questions and doing a thorough clean-up afterwards.
I'd have no issue giving PolyFix a 5 star rating and recommending them to address any concrete leveling issues you have.

Tom gave us a very fair and reasonable quote for lifting the deck around the pool. More thorough that other quotes we had received. David and Brandon did the work today and explained everything they did and had a few recommendations to complete the job. Very professional, friendly and affordable! Highly recommend Poly Fix for the job! Thank you guys!

I had Polyfix level my driveway today. The 2 Technicians (David and Brandon) were very professional in explaining the process that they were using to level the concrete driveway. My driveway had major problems. The 2 technicians worked very diligently bringing the sections of the driveway to a level position. I highly recommend using Polyfix and these 2 technicians. They left the job in better shape than they found it.

Our Fix: Hydrophobic Polyurethane Foam Injection
PolyFix uses a specialized hydrophobic (water-resistant) foam that expands and forms a strong, stable base even in saturated soil. Unlike traditional concrete or grout, this material reacts cleanly in wet environments and won’t wash out.
Our seawall repair process:
Inspection & void detection We identify where soil loss, cracks, or instability are occurring.
Small injection points We drill small holes behind the seawall or walkway where voids have formed.
Foam injection Hydrophobic foam is injected into the voids. It expands, displaces water, and compacts loose soil.
Stabilization & sealing The foam strengthens the soil, fills gaps, and creates a water-tight barrier.
Void fill and surface stabilization Walkways, slabs, patios, or steps connected to the seawall are also lifted or stabilized as needed.
This repair is clean, fast, and non-intrusive — no heavy equipment or major excavation.
Benefits of Polyurethane Seawall Repair
Hydrophobic foam is specifically designed for water-side repairs. Homeowners choose this solution because it is:
Waterproof — cures in water
Non-invasive — no digging or heavy construction
Eco-friendly — does not contaminate soil or water
Fast-setting — expands within minutes
Long-lasting — won’t wash out or erode
Strong — stabilizes soil and supports the wall
Cost-effective — cheaper and faster than rebuilding a seawall
It’s one of the safest and most effective ways to protect waterfront property.
Sea Wall Repair – Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do you repair seawalls in lakes, ponds, and residential waterfront areas?
Yes. PolyFix Inc. repairs seawalls and retaining walls for residential lakefront homes, ponds, canals, and waterside communities throughout Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties. Whether the wall is concrete, block, or adjacent to a walkway or patio, we can stabilize soil and fill voids without digging or heavy machinery.
Q. What types of seawalls and waterfront structures do you work with?
We repair a wide range of concrete and soil-supported structures, including:
Residential seawalls
Lakeside retaining walls
Walkways and patios near the water
Pool decks built next to seawalls
Driveways or slabs bordering shoreline areas
Void areas behind walls or steps
If water is washing soil away, our hydrophobic foam is almost always the right solution.
Q. How does polyurethane foam help stop soil washout behind seawalls?
Our hydrophobic foam expands inside wet soil, pushes out standing water, and forms a solid, water-resistant base behind the seawall. This stops ongoing erosion, fills gaps, and helps prevent future washouts — even during heavy rain or rising lake levels.
Q. Will the foam work if the soil is completely saturated?
Yes. Hydrophobic polyurethane is designed for wet environments. It reacts, hardens, and stabilizes the ground even when injected directly into wet soil or standing water. This is one of the main advantages over traditional grout or cement.
Q. How long does a seawall repair project take?
Most seawall and void-filling projects take only a few hours, depending on the size of the voids and access to the area. The foam expands quickly and reaches full strength within minutes, so your property is usable again shortly after the repair.
Q. Can your process lift sinking concrete near my seawall?
Yes. If your walkway, patio, pool deck, or entry slab has settled because of soil washout, we can lift and level the slab during the same visit. This helps restore safety, alignment, and proper drainage around the water’s edge.
Q. Is this repair permanent?
Polyurethane foam does not shrink, break down, absorb water, or wash out. It creates long-term soil stabilization and support. While no repair can prevent extreme future soil movement, our foam provides one of the longest-lasting solutions available for seawall erosion issues.
Q. Do you offer a warranty on seawall repairs?
Yes. All seawall stabilization services come with our 2-year warranty.
If covered settling occurs during the warranty period and the area has been properly maintained, we will return to evaluate and address the issue.
Q. What should I do if I see cracks or sinking near my seawall?
Contact us as soon as possible. Soil erosion rarely stops on its own — it typically accelerates, creating larger voids and weakening the entire wall. Early repair prevents expensive structural damage.
Q. Does my location matter for seawall repair?
We regularly work in waterfront areas across:
Aubrey • Little Elm • Frisco • Denton • The Colony • Lewisville • Prosper • McKinney • Lake Lewisville • Lake Ray Roberts • Lake Grapevine • and surrounding North Texas lake communities.
If you’re within 30–40 miles of Aubrey, TX, we can help — and we travel further when the situation makes sense.
Q. Is polyurethane seawall repair more affordable than rebuilding a wall?
Yes. In most cases, injecting hydrophobic foam costs significantly less than demolition and rebuilding. It also avoids major disruption to landscaping, docks, and walkways.
Q. How can I prevent future seawall issues?
Here are simple steps that help:
Maintain good drainage away from the wall
Repair small cracks quickly
Keep an eye on sinking soil or gaps
Avoid heavy loads near the edge
Schedule inspections when you notice changes
If you’re unsure, send us photos — we’ll let you know if a repair is needed.
